After your safari, fly to Zanzibar Island for a few days of relaxation along its beautiful white-sand beaches and turquoise waters. Explore the historic streets of Stone Town, enjoy the island’s tropical atmosphere, and unwind after your safari.

This carefully designed itinerary offers a balance of wildlife, adventure, culture, and beach relaxation, making it ideal for travelers who want to experience Tanzania beyond the safari.

Day 1-Arrival In Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! A representative from African Landscape Adventures will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you’ll have the opportunity to unwind and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime!

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. The park is famous for its enormous baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and large concentrations of elephants.

Upon entering the park, begin your first game drive, exploring its diverse landscapes in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions, and other wildlife. During the dry season, the Tarangire River attracts large numbers of animals, creating excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.

Enjoy a full day surrounded by the beauty of the Tanzanian wilderness before settling into your lodge or luxury camp for the evening.
