After breakfast, we descend into this UNESCO World Heritage site, one of Africa’s seven wonders, formed three million years ago. The crater, 610 meters deep and spanning 260 square kilometers, is home to around 25,000 ungulates. It’s a prime spot for game viewing, with wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and elephants, plus over 500 bird species. If we’re lucky, we may spot the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch, we’ll head back to Karatu and stay at one of our quality mid-range partner lodges.

Day 2-Tarangire National Park
In the morning, your personal safari guide will pick you up from your accommodations in Arusha. We’ll begin our journey towards Tarangire National Park, traveling through the picturesque Maasai plains, dotted with iconic acacia trees. Day 6-Lake Manyara National Park
Our journey takes us to Lake Manyara National Park, about 120 km west of Arusha. The park is famous for its seasonal salt lake, which covers 70% of the area and attracts thousands of flamingos and over 500 bird species. As we explore, we may encounter wildlife like monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and even lions resting in trees. The park is known for its varied landscapes, including grassy plains and primate-filled woodlands
