Day 01

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival in Tanzania, you will be warmly welcomed by your African Landscape Adventures representative and transferred to your luxury accommodation in Arusha. Take the remainder of the day to relax after your international journey and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the lodge. Your safari guide will meet you for a briefing, introduce the journey ahead and answer any questions before your adventure begins.

Day 02

Ngorongoro Crater – A Remarkable Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast, travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Enclosed by towering crater walls, this remarkable ecosystem supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Look out for elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and an array of predators, including lions and hyenas. With luck, you may also encounter the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before continuing your exploration. In the afternoon, ascend to the Ngorongoro Highlands and settle into your luxury lodge.

Day 03

Journey to the Central Serengeti

After breakfast, depart the Ngorongoro Highlands and journey towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Day 04

Central Serengeti – Balloon Safari and Wildlife Exploration

Begin before sunrise with an unforgettable hot-air balloon safari over the Serengeti, offering a breathtaking perspective of the plains as the landscape awakens. After landing, celebrate the experience with a bush breakfast before continuing with game viewing. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the Central Serengeti, an area known for its resident wildlife and excellent opportunities to encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and large herds of plains game. Return to your camp to unwind after a memorable day in the wilderness.

Day 05

Journey to the Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, begin your journey from the Central Serengeti towards the remote northern reaches of the park. The Northern Serengeti is celebrated for its dramatic landscapes and its seasonal role in the Great Migration, when vast herds move through the region. Day 06

Northern Serengeti – Following the Great Migration

Spend the day exploring the Northern Serengeti with your experienced safari guide. Explore the area's riverine woodland, open grasslands and wildlife-rich surroundings while looking for resident predators and other remarkable species. Return to Mara Mara Tented Lodge in the evening.

Day 07

Northern Serengeti – Full-Day Game Drive

The river crossings are a natural event and cannot be guaranteed, but the region offers rewarding wildlife viewing throughout the year. Return to camp for dinner and an evening beneath the African sky.

Day 08

Northern Serengeti – A Final Day in the Wilderness

Your guide will tailor the day's route to the season, wildlife activity and your interests. Return to Mara Mara Tented Lodge for your final evening in the Serengeti.

Day 09

Fly Out from the Serengeti

Enjoy breakfast at the camp before being transferred to the designated airstrip for your scheduled flight out of the Serengeti. Your onward flight arrangements and final destination will be confirmed in your travel documents.
