Day 01

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival in Tanzania, you will be welcomed by your African Landscape Adventures representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Take time to relax after your journey and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the town. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the area or simply unwind at your hotel. Your guide will brief you on the upcoming safari and answer any questions before the adventure begins.

Day 02

Tarangire National Park Safari

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees, spectacular landscapes, and large elephant herds. Enjoy a game drive through the park in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of bird species. Your guide will share insights into the wildlife and ecosystems that make Tarangire special. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day's exploration before continuing your safari and heading to your accommodation.

Day 03

Maasai Cultural Visit and Journey to the Serengeti

Begin the day with a cultural visit to a Maasai community, where you will have the opportunity to learn about traditional customs, local heritage, and daily life. Continue towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful and changing landscapes of northern Tanzania. After entering the Serengeti, enjoy wildlife viewing along the route as you travel towards your camp or lodge. The Serengeti's vast plains offer an unforgettable introduction to one of Africa's most iconic wildlife destinations.

Day 04

Sunrise Balloon Safari and Serengeti Game Drives

Rise before dawn for an unforgettable hot-air balloon safari over the Serengeti. As the sun rises over the endless plains, enjoy a unique aerial perspective of the landscape and its wildlife. After landing, celebrate the experience with a bush breakfast before continuing your safari. Later, explore the Serengeti on a game drive in search of lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and other wildlife. The day's sightings will depend on the season, weather, and natural movements of the animals.

Day 05

Ngorongoro Crater Wildlife Experience

Travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. This remarkable natural landscape is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, hippos, and predators such as lions and hyenas. With luck, you may also encounter the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area before continuing your exploration of the crater floor. In the afternoon, proceed to your accommodation.

Day 06

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, explore Lake Manyara National Park, known for its groundwater forests, open grasslands, diverse birdlife, and scenic lakeshore. During your game drive, look out for elephants, baboons, giraffes, and other wildlife. The park's varied habitats offer a different perspective from the vast Serengeti plains. Enjoy the scenery and wildlife with your guide before travelling to your accommodation for the evening.

Day 07

Return to Arusha and Departure

Enjoy breakfast before beginning your return journey to Arusha. Depending on your onward travel arrangements, you will be transferred to your hotel or the appropriate airport. If your schedule permits, you may have time to relax or explore Arusha before departure. Your safari concludes with memorable experiences of Tanzania's wildlife, landscapes, and culture.

Tanzania's northern safari circuit can be visited throughout the year. Wildlife movements, vegetation, and viewing conditions vary with the seasons. The Great Migration moves through different parts of the Serengeti during the year, and the timing of river crossings depends on rainfall and animal movements. A 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking, with the remaining balance payable according to the payment schedule in the final quotation or invoice. Availability is confirmed in writing. Cancellation and refund conditions will be provided with the booking confirmation.
