Day 01

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by your African Landscape Adventures representative and transferred to Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge. Set among lush coffee plantations on the outskirts of Arusha, the lodge provides a peaceful introduction to Tanzania. Settle into your accommodation, relax after your international journey and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Depending on your arrival time, your safari guide can arrange a briefing covering the route, wildlife experiences and practical details for the days ahead.

Day 02

Tarangire National Park & Elephant Country

After breakfast, meet your safari guide and drive towards Tarangire National Park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees, open savannah and large elephant herds. Enter the park for a game drive through landscapes shaped by the seasonal Tarangire River, an important source of water for wildlife. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas and a variety of bird species. Your guide will help interpret animal behaviour and the ecological importance of this remarkable park. Day 03

Lake Manyara National Park

Day 04

Ngorongoro Crater Safari

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Surrounded by steep crater walls, this extraordinary ecosystem supports a high concentration of wildlife, including zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, hippos and numerous predators. Day 06

Sunrise Balloon Safari & Full-Day Serengeti Exploration

Rise before dawn for an unforgettable hot-air balloon safari over the Serengeti, subject to weather and operator availability. As the first light spreads across the plains, enjoy a unique aerial perspective of the wilderness and its wildlife. After landing, celebrate with a bush breakfast where provided. Continue with game drives through the Serengeti ecosystem, searching for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants and large herbivore herds. Day 07

Final Serengeti Game Drive & Fly Out to Zanzibar

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before departing for a final game drive or a shorter wildlife-viewing excursion, depending on your scheduled flight. Make the most of your remaining time in the Serengeti, watching for wildlife across the plains and enjoying the scenery one last time. Continue to the designated airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. This fly-out arrangement saves the long road journey back to Arusha and allows you to transition more comfortably from safari to island life. On arrival in Zanzibar, meet your driver and transfer to Meliá Zanzibar. Settle into the resort and enjoy a relaxing evening by the Indian Ocean.

Day 09
