Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your African Landscape Adventures representative. After a personal meet-and-greet, you will be transferred to Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge, a beautiful retreat surrounded by a working coffee plantation.
Settle into your elegant accommodation and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere after your journey. Take time to relax, explore the lodge surroundings or simply enjoy a quiet moment together as you begin your honeymoon in Tanzania.
A special honeymoon welcome and room decoration can be requested with the lodge in advance, creating a thoughtful first evening for the two of you.
After breakfast, leave Arusha and journey towards the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands. The drive takes you through changing landscapes, rural communities and the scenic countryside of northern Tanzania.

Today, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable full-day game drive. Often described as one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations, the crater offers extraordinary scenery and a remarkable concentration of animals.
Explore its open grasslands, freshwater pools, woodland areas and soda lake while searching for elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, hyenas and the elusive black rhinoceros.

Romantic room arrangements: Special room decoration and honeymoon welcome touches can be requested at the lodges and Zanzibar resort in advance.
Serengeti sundowners: Enjoy sundowners in the Serengeti, with drinks and refreshments in a beautiful wilderness setting.

Tanzania and Zanzibar can be enjoyed throughout much of the year. The best travel period depends on your preferred safari season and the kind of beach experience you would like to enjoy.
The dry season, generally from June to October, is popular for wildlife viewing in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, as animals gather around water sources and vegetation becomes less dense. The Serengeti is also famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, although its location changes throughout the year.
From November to May, the landscape becomes greener, with beautiful scenery and excellent opportunities for wildlife photography. The calving season in the southern Serengeti typically occurs around January and February.
Zanzibar is particularly popular during the drier periods from June to October and December to February, when beach conditions are often favourable. Seasonal weather can vary, so we recommend selecting your dates with both safari and island conditions in mind.
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your safari and beach booking. The remaining 70% balance is payable before the start of the tour, according to the payment deadline stated on your invoice.
Once your booking is confirmed, African Landscape Adventures will coordinate the accommodation, safari arrangements, domestic flight reservations and Zanzibar transfers included in your confirmed itinerary.
