Today you’ll leave Central Serengeti after breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you’ll descend into the crater for a game drive, spotting wildlife like lions, elephants, rhinos, and large herds of zebras and wildebeest. After a picnic lunch, continue exploring the crater’s unique ecosystem. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater rim and head to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and relaxation with stunning views of the Ngorongoro landscape.

After morning breakfast at your lodge Ngorongoro, you’ll depart for your journey to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Enjoy the scenic drive through the highlands and rural villages of Tanzania as you make your way towards the airport. Depending on your flight time, you may stop for a final lunch along the way or for some souvenir shopping in towns like Arusha. Arrive at JRO in time for your departure, concluding your 9 Days Big 5 Photographic Safaris adventure in Tanzania. Safe travels!

On your departure day from Zanzibar, enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out. Depending on your flight schedule, our driver will pick you up for a transfer to Zanzibar Airport. Make sure all your belongings are packed and allow enough time for the transfer, which usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour. During the ride, take in the final views of the island’s breathtaking scenery. Upon arrival at the airport, check in for your flight and reflect on the wonderful experiences and memories you've made during your time in Zanzibar.
